Prairie Room

The elegantly redesigned 4,000-square-foot Prairie Room offers natural light, fine wood finishes, and designer lighting. The Prairie Room can seat up to 250 of your guests and can also be split in half for more personal receptions. The Prairie rooms also has an elegant foyer space to host a pre-dinner cocktail reception.

Regency Ballroom

With 12,000 total square feet, this Chicago ballroom can accommodate up to 1,000 guests for a wedding reception. The room can be broken down into smaller sections for a more intimate space. The Regency Foyer has 2-story, floor to ceiling windows that provide plenty of natural light for a cocktail hour before dinner.

Meeting Suites

We have a total of five meeting suites that offer a private space, including a small kitchenette, restroom and storage space for the Bride & Groom and Bridal Parties to utilize the day of the Wedding.

Ceremony Information

Plan a unique and unforgettable wedding ceremony with the use of the space for up to two hours. Included in the set up fee is one complimentary wired microphone, water station, gift table, unity candle table and staging in a variety of configurations. We will work with you to create perfect ambiance that you have always imagined.

$1,000 room rental (when Reception is also hosted at the Hotel)

Confirmation of Space and Deposits

An initial non-refundable deposit of ten percent (10%) of estimated charges is required to confirm your date along with a signed contract.

Guest Accommodations

A room block may be setup for guests attending your event at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place.

Check in time is 3:00pm, and check out time is 12pm. If you would like to setup a block of rooms, a minimum of ten guestrooms must be guaranteed or the prevailing hotel rate will be offered.

Welcome Packets and Gift Bags

The following price applies to any gifts delivered to the guestrooms.

Final Payment

Final payment in the form of a cashier’s check, money order, check credit card or cash is due at least ten (10) business days prior to the wedding date. A refundable 20% overage deposit will be collected with the final payment to cover charges and /or

incidentals charges incurred during and following the wedding.

Should you wish to hire security services, suggestions are available through your wedding specialist. Please ensure someone from your wedding party secures any gifts left at your wedding. The hotel will not be responsible for gift removal. This includes all vendor equipment on property.
